In my life, I’ve often found myself beginning again—by choice or by chance—carving fresh paths, chasing new dreams, letting go of what no longer fits. This painting holds the symbols of that spirit: a waterfall rushing forward, never looking back; lilies rising pure and bright from still water, untouched by what lies beneath; and a lone deer standing at the edge of the scene, poised between what was and what’s to come.

One of my favourite quotes echoes through this work: “It doesn’t matter what’s been written in your story so far; it’s how you fill up the rest of the pages that counts.” With each brushstroke, I poured in that sense of courage and hope. This piece is a tribute to every brave soul who dares to begin again—who picks up the pen and writes forward, no matter what came before.
